As many of you have seen in the paper, the White Sulphur Springs School District Board of Trustees, in an emergency meeting on Tuesday, March 17th, moved to declare an emergency in accordance with Sections 20-9-801 through 20-9-806, MCA to run concurrent with any declaration of emergency by the President, Congress, Montana Legislature, Governor or County Health Department, due to the community and school health concerns related to COVID-19 and authorized the administration to take necessary steps to execute this declaration as recommended.
Also, in separate motions in that emergency meeting the Board authorized administration to work with staff in making determinations regarding pupil proficiency, as well as, provisions for offsite and on-line instruction.
We will utilize the means at our disposal to continue to offer quality instruction to each student as best we can. If you should have any questions please call the District office at 547-3751. We have a minimally staffed office right now, but will be checking phone messages and e-mails regularly.
